Dilly Bread

1 pkg, active dry yeast

1/4 cup of warm water (105F - 115F)

1 cup creamed cottage Cheese

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 tablespoon minced onion

2 teaspoons of dill seed

1 teaspoon of salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 tablespoon butter

1 egg

2.5 cups of all-purpose flour

Directions: Soften yeast in large bowl with warm water. Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm in pan, then combine with sugar, onion, dill, salt, baking soda, butter and egg. mix together with spoon. then pour mixture in with softened yeast. Add 1.5 cups of flour in and mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Add in remaining cup of flour and mix in well with a spoon or hands. Cover and let rise in warm place until light and double in size. about an hour.

Grease an 8in round pan, stir in dough into pan and let sit and rise again for about 30 more minutes until doubled in size. then Heat overn to 350F and bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is golden brown. Remove from pan immediately and brush with melted butter.
