Cabbage Casarole

16 0z of shreaded sharp chedder cheese

1 head of cabbage, chopped

optional: 18 strips of bacon, (i prefer thick sliced bacon)

Directions: Pre-heat oven to 350F. Place chopped cabbage into 8"x8" glass pan, It WILL heap up very tall and seem to spill out over the sides. This is normal and If your cabbage does not do this, get more cabbage. Place pan in oven for about 15 minutes or until cabbage has wilted down. Take pan out and remove about 1.2 of the cabbage. Lay down 9 strips of bacon and sprinkle about 8oz of cheese. Replace cabbage and top off with the rest of the bacon and cheese. Return to oven and cook for 30 minutes or until bacon in the center of the casarole is done,
